ProductTank Columbus is a local meetup connecting product managers, designers, developers, and founders, part of the global Mind the Product network. As Co-Organizer, I own end-to-end event planning — speaker and panel curation, topic selection, and sponsor acquisition.

The Opportunity

Community meetups often struggle with inconsistent programming and member engagement drop-off after initial curiosity fades. Sustaining a growing, engaged community requires ongoing, deliberate curation, not just showing up once.

My Role

I partner with fellow co-organizers to design events people genuinely want to attend; curating speakers and topics relevant to the local product community, running end-of-year member surveys to shape future programming, and building sponsor relationships to sustain the group financially.

Impact / Results

Community has grown to 1,326 members
Most recent single event drove 80 new member sign-ups
Ongoing member surveys directly shape topic selection to sustain engagement
