AI is fundamentally changing how patients discover and access care — through AI-generated search summaries, conversational assistants, and increasingly, autonomous booking agents. As a member of OhioHealth's AI Visibility Collective, I bring independent research on the broader AI landscape, training through Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect program, and hands-on AI experience from my work at Bold Crow to help Digital Marketing and teams across the system prepare.
Challenge / Problem
Most healthcare systems, OhioHealth included, have limited internal expertise on how AI is reshaping search, discovery, and digital engagement — and even less on what "agentic readiness" (websites and systems built to work with AI agents, not just human visitors) actually requires. Without a shared point of view across departments, teams risk making disconnected or reactive decisions as the AI landscape shifts.
What We Did
As part of the AI Visibility Collective, I contribute ongoing research — tracking shifts across major AI platforms and applying what I've learned through my Claude Certified Architect training and hands-on AI work at Bold Crow — to help shape the group's point of view. I co-presented in 2 department-wide Learning Series sessions, educating Marketing and other teams across the system on how AI is changing search and website discoverability, and what it means to prepare OhioHealth for AI agents and the broader shift toward the agentic web.
